Sanford and Son Dealt with Some Crazy Shit...
I recently was reading episode descriptions for Sanford and Son and each one is more ridiculous than the next, Here is one of my favorites….
LAMONT AS OTHELLO
Fred comes home to find Lamont choking a white woman. When he tries to stop him, Lamont explains it’s his acting teacher and he’s rehearsing a scene from the play “Othello.” Later, Fred becomes the victim of assumption when Marilyn invites Fred and Lamont to her place and her parents think Fred and Lamont are trying to rob the place. Fred then teaches Marilyn and her parents a lesson in racism.
